Terms of Service

1. What you get

A subscription gives you, for as long as it is active:

  1. access to the invite-only TradingView indicators BullShark by TT and Bearracuda by TT;
  2. use of the TradeTrawler web app.

2. Not financial advice

TradeTrawler and the indicators are educational and analytical tools.

  1. Nothing in them is investment, financial or trading advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell anything.
  2. Backtests and simulations describe the past, and they can differ from live results.
  3. Trading carries a risk of loss, including more than you invest. You alone decide your trades and bear their results.

3. Your account and licence

  1. One person. Your licence is personal and non-transferable. It is tied to the Google account and the TradingView username you register.
  2. Sharing. Sharing your licence, account or access is not allowed, and may end your subscription.
  3. Keep it safe. You are responsible for keeping your Google and TradingView accounts secure.

4. Billing

  1. Who bills you. Subscriptions are sold and billed by Whop (whop.com) on our behalf.
  2. Cancel. You can cancel at any time in your Whop account. Access continues to the end of the paid period.
  3. Refunds. Payments are non-refundable except where the law requires.
  4. Prices. We may change prices for future periods and will tell you 30 days before a change takes effect.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  1. copy, decompile, reverse-engineer or extract the app's or the indicators' code, logic or strategy, except where the law allows it despite this clause;
  2. resell the app, the indicators or their output, or use them to build a competing product;
  3. get around the licence check, or use automated means to access the app beyond normal use.

6. Third-party services

The app runs on Google Apps Script and stores your journals in your Google Drive. The indicators run on TradingView, and billing runs through Whop. Their own terms apply to your use of them. We are not responsible for their availability, changes or outages.

7. Availability and changes

  1. Updates. We improve the app and the indicators over time. Features may change or be removed.
  2. Availability. We aim for the app to be available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

8. Ending your access

  1. You may stop at any time by cancelling (§4).
  2. We may suspend or end access for a breach of these terms. If we end the service for everyone, we refund the unused part of your paid period, pro rata.
  3. Your journals are yours. They stay in your Google Drive after your access ends.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows:

  1. the service is provided "as is";
  2. we are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, or indirect or consequential losses;
  3. our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Changes to these terms

We will post changes on this page with a new date, and tell you in the app about material changes. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan. Disputes go to the Taipei District Court, unless your local consumer law says otherwise.
