A historical signal, replayed: where BullShark would have set up a trade that day. Nothing was placed or filled. TradeTrawler and its indicators never place orders. Whether and how to act on a signal, on a paper or a real account, is always your decision. Past results, including replayed results, do not predict future ones.

Performance Overview

Each indicator has its own Performance Overview table. It tracks not only the open trades but the strategy as a whole: win rate and gain/loss over the lookback history.

Fully Customizable Settings

Customize each strategy by session, stop-loss tightness, when (and whether) to move to break-even, when and how to take profit, and a number of other advanced settings.

Multi-Timeframe Analysis

Build strategies that stay out of trades when higher-timeframe conditions are less than ideal. The in-app replay mode lets you review what the higher timeframes were doing at the time of your setup.

Strategy Advisor

Inside the TradeTrawler Strategy Hub, import your indicator settings, then tweak and refine them to suit your personality and trading style. Want to give your trades more room to breathe? Shorten drawdown periods? Take profit off the table earlier? The in-app Simulator and Strategy Advisor help you test settings for any of the above.

What TradeTrawler does

TradeTrawler is two things in one subscription:

  1. Two TradingView strategies, BullShark (long) and Bearracuda (short). Invite-only indicators with entries, stops, trade management and alerts. Each one exports its trades as a CSV file.
  2. The TradeTrawler web app. Import those CSV exports and see your trading in one place:
    • a Calendar of results by day, month and year;
    • a Dashboard with statistics;
    • bar and line charts;
    • a Database of every trade;
    • price charts (TV Charts) with your trades marked on them;
    • the Strategy Hub: replay the strategy over months or years of price history and test other settings to see how the same trades would have played out.

How the app uses your Google account

TradeTrawler runs in your own Google account, and your data stays in your own Google Drive.

  1. Google Drive (only files the app creates). The app makes a "TradeTrawler" folder in your Drive. It keeps your journals there, one Google Sheet per journal, plus price-history files for the charts and the Strategy Hub. It cannot see any other file in your Drive.
  2. Google Sheets. The app writes the trades and settings you import into those journal sheets, and reads them back to show your charts and statistics. It opens only the sheets it created.
  3. The simulator. The Strategy Hub's simulator runs on TradeTrawler's server on Google Cloud, with the price bars and settings you import. The price bars are kept on that server for up to 30 days after you last use them, so they don't have to be sent again. They're never shared. The app sends a short-lived Google sign-in token with them, so the server knows it's you.
